Legal Terms & Commercial License

Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 18, 2026 • Effective Date: October 18, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website at https://sloper.fit or the web application studio at https://app.sloper.fit (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the platform.

2. Platform Description & Services

Sloper.Fit provides digital pattern cutting tools, educational technical articles, free downloadable foundation slopers, and an interactive parametric computer-aided design (CAD) workspace. Our services allow users to generate, preview, customize, and export garment patterns in PDF, SVG, and ASTM D6673 / AAMA DXF formats.

3. Commercial Garment Production License

We want fashion designers, bespoke tailors, costumiers, home sewists, and apparel studios to thrive. Therefore, our licensing terms are clear and creator-friendly:

✓ You CAN: Cut, sew, alter, modify, and produce physical garments using patterns downloaded from Sloper.Fit, and sell those finished physical garments commercially without paying any royalties.
✓ You CAN: Import our DXF and SVG exports into professional 3D CAD tools (CLO3D, Browzwear, Optitex) to develop commercial collection designs.
✗ You CANNOT: Re-sell, sub-license, bundle, or distribute raw Sloper.Fit digital pattern files (PDFs, SVGs, DXFs) as standalone digital pattern assets or in competing digital libraries without express written permission.

4. Scale Calibration & Fitting Practices

While Sloper.Fit calculates geometry with millimetric precision and embeds an exact 100mm × 100mm test calibration block on exported documents, variations in home and commercial printer hardware, driver scaling ("Fit to Page" vs. "100% Scale"), paper humidity, and fabric stretch characteristics can impact physical sizing.

Recommended Tailoring Best Practice

Always measure the 100mm test calibration box on Page 1 with a physical ruler before cutting your fashion fabric. We strongly recommend making a test fitting toile/muslin mock-up to evaluate balance and drape prior to cutting expensive textiles.

5. User Accounts & Security

When you register for an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please notify us immediately at support@sloper.fit.

6. Fees, Export Passes & Refund Policy

Standard pattern library downloads and basic workspace preview features are provided free of charge. Advanced features, unlimited custom measurement exports, or lifetime studio passes may require a one-time fee or subscription.

Because digital CAD files and software licenses are intangible, immediate-access goods, fees are generally non-refundable once an export is generated. However, if technical issues prevent you from downloading or using your files, contact our team within 14 days and we will gladly resolve the issue or issue a refund.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The platform software, parametric calculation algorithms, CAD user interface, trademarks, logos, and visual design are the exclusive intellectual property of Sloper.Fit. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source algorithms without authorization.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The services, patterns, and software are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sloper.Fit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of fabric, production delays, profits, or data arising out of or related to your use of the platform.
